I had been to Halifax many times before but this time it felt different. My eyebrows began to twitch and a tingling feeling overwhelmed my body. As I stood in line with my friend bryan. The ancient lady in front dressed in black began to move uncontrollably, shaking and whipping her head back and forth. As I continued my conversation her body began to shake more vigorously. And the suddenly the entirety of her wrinkled body seemed to stop and she slowly turned around. She uttered three words do you mind. However the very kind and polite Asain lady in front of us tried her best to calm down the situation, which was rapidly escalating. But I could feel a fight coming. She started yelling at us in satanic fashion for know apart reason. The battle had begun. It was 2v1 but given her years and experience it was like 10 on 2. She steam rolled us. She snarled like wolf with eyes filled of a blackening fire of hell and hatred. Instantly we backed down although everyone in the bank had seen this demons soul. In the long run we were the victors. It should be noted the Halifax staff did nothing but in this situation it was acceptable as this witch was to much fire even for them. -William

I am sure that others may have legitimate grievances against this council, however today they were very helpful in the matter of a PCN issued to some Taiwanese tourists who happened to ask me for assistance in the matter. I was only too glad to look into this, as they had paid for parking but forgot to display the ticket. Winchester City Council had people in the parking services that you could actually speak to on the phone, and who were based in the council building. Most councils outsource all this work. They suggested that the tourists go to the council offices to have their parking pay and display ticket photocopied at reception and forwarded to the parking services team. This was done, efficiently and with good grace. Well done to Winchester City Council for making this an easy, not an arduous, undertaking. Barclays Bank in Winchester should ask for some customer service tips from you guys!

I use this post office regularly and have always had a great experience. All the staff are helpful, considerate and paitient. Wouldn’t go anywhere else to post parcels.

It's a bit of a confusing shop! The post office being tucked away at the back, and very little sign posts to direct you there. To be honest, if I wasn't a local person then I wouldn't of found the post office at all, and probably ended up at the Upper High Street PO.

Hidden at the very back of WHSmith, is a fairly standard branch.
